Maximillian...Max...or as Squidward calls him..."Boo"

Well here he is. The new wonderful and amazing Max. Isn't he so cute? He's just so cuddly and sweet and I love him so.
Well, now that I got the lying out my butt out of the way I can tell you how I really feel. If it looks like a rat and acts like a rat and smells like a rat...is it a rat? Heck no...it's really just a Syberian , Africanized, Dwarf, Teddy Bear Hamster. Maximillion is the new addition to our family. It was either him or a cat. I went for the smaller of the two and I'm really tring to love him, really I am, but it's sooo hard to love something that effing pees on you both times that you try to hold it and bond.

We went to Amy's a couple of weeks ago and Ash fell in love with Chandlers hamster. That's where it all began. Off to Sam's Club we went. She picked him out and we got the salesgirl/twelveyearold to help us get him out of the cage. After he bites her a few times we are all on the end of our seats watching the circus she finally gets him out and hands him to Ash. Ohhhh the cuteness! Then....in the middle of three teenagers, me and Jessa all saying Awww isn't he cute? Woooooooo Hoooooooo!!! He decides he is one of those little freaky flying squirrels or sugar bombers or whatever they're called and leaps out of Ashlie's hands and dive bombs about five feet onto the tile floor. That was when the earth stopped rotating...... We all freeze and wait...........His head twitches a couple of times, his right eye has a small seizure, and then he rubs some dirt into it and shakes it off! That's when we knew he was the hamster for us. Well, I would have bought him regardless because at that point I figured he wouldn't make the ride home.

Wondermax now lives in Squidwards room and he has a big green rolling ball on the top of his cage where he loves to stockpile his food under all the glorious fluff.I know it's because he thinks Jessa is the Devil and she is going to come in and steal his crunchy corn kernals,and she just might. That's how she rolls. Anyway I wanted you all to see our new addition. Welcome to the family Maxiepad!

Wild Ragin Water Weekend (aka Girls Retreat)

We had such a great weekend!!! Jeneal, Kelli, Jhalore....Thank you for coming to see us and for being such good sports! You all have such great qualities and are so much fun! We had a girls retreat weekend and thanks to Meredith we all ate like Queens. We ran the river on Saturday and it was so beautiful. We were hoping to have a little easier time with the white water rapids as you can see in the second slide show below we hit some pretty wild waters but with the combined skills and agility of each of us we faired pretty well. In order to prepare ourselves and get tough we decided that every time someone gave you a compliment you had to reply "up yours" which was really hard for Jeneal. She really just wanted to reply a simple and heartfelt "Thank you", but we wouldn't let her. Luckily she and Mom were always the first to hop out of the boat and pick it up and move it when we drug bottom. When we would tire out and didn't think we could press on Amy was in charge of the pep talk. It was a very short. thoughtful and moving speech that got us going again. It consisted of yelling "Tallyhoe Bitches!!!". Every time someone or something would go overboard Jhalore would rescue dive into the water, swim to the bottom and retrieve whatever had fallen. Due to Kelli's vast knowledge of the wild and her hard core thirst for speed we beat the pick up time by 1 1/2 hours so we had to plenty of time to rest and re-hydrate with power drinks at the dock when we were through. I didn't tell you guys this but Doug and Ray ran ahead of us so they could take pictures for the slide show and I think they really captured our best moments well. Thank you Doug...Thank you Ray!

Mud Diggers

Is that not the face of regret? Or maybe the face of WOW..I was having a blast until I realized I am up shit creek. I can't believe I actually found a song called "Mud Digger" If you listen to the lyrics I think he may even be from Vernal. You gotta love the internet! I have reached my height of stupidity in the picking of this song. Another camping trip down the tubes. Let's sum it up in a nutshell.... The kids "accidentally" fell in the mud...Chandler made me do it..... Mackenzi dared me....Ashlie had no comment. Jessa painted dad's fingernails which went beautifully with the magarita's we had. Jessa got stung by a buttload of bees. She told us that daddy said "run jessa...Run Jessa....RUN RUN RUN JESSA RUN!!!!" I guess she didn't run fast enough as you can see one tried to stick his butt in her eyeball. The boys went in to a coma on the fourwheeler and last but not least it HAILED on us!!! Tallyhoe!!!

Soooooo...If a tree fell in the forest and nobody was around except 25 sleeping people would anyone hear it?? Why, yes, thank you for asking! Jill would, and only Jill, but would Doug believe her? Oh hell no! Not even when it was 10 feet from our vehicles. We are all so perceptive too that we didn't even notice it nor did I remember I heard it until about 2:00 the next day! Dang....I was so wishing for a new car too. It actually blew down about 10 minutes before I made Doug go outside in his manties and put down the awning and 9 1/2 minutes before Brent and Mere were outside in their underwear putting down their awning and 9 minutes before...well, Dad goes commando so let's not go there. But it was big wind and it was in the middle of the night. If we all would have been smart (like Ray) and put the awning's down when we went to bed, the wind wouldn't have blown at all!

We had another great weekend. It was Brendans birthday..the big boy is 18 and we all decided that he is now old enough to touch boobies. Happy Birthday Weazel, you big ole handsome hunky fella! Jessa and Chandler both rode Mikey's motorcycle but Jessa only rode it around in once in a short circle. Chandler on the other hand was a totally different story...her butt was glued to the seat ALL weekend...around the camp she went. After that she went around the camp and then she went around the camp so she could go around the camp some more. Can't wait to go again and see you all next weekend!!!!
