Oh yeah....you wanna impress me...part it!
I had to put that picture on top so you could see how funny it really is up close! Ruger apparently decided the water was too cold after all and he would just walk across Flaming Gorge instead.
So we went camping last weekend and had sooo much fun! The kids rode the dirt bikes all day, aound, around, around the track. We got invaded by cows every morning and I mean invaded. You can see the picture of one in the middle of the camp fire? We named him Filet Mignon...He just stood there and looked at me waiting for me to build a fire under him. Jessa saw a REAL cowboy. We went to the Gorge and let the kids jump off the cliffs Which was a really good thing because they had been camping since Wednesday and they all smelled like cow manure.
Jessa cried when I told her yesterday that it was time to come home. She ate...well lets say they ALL ate fifty pounds of smores and a whole dutch oven full of peach cobler, not to mention the concoction that Aspen and Ruger made up by mixing cake mix and Sprite in the empty peach pie filling can and cooking it in the fire. It looked like silly putty but Ruger said it was delicious and "That's what campin is all about!"

The Serenity Fountain
This post is for Amy’s benefit, since she never comes to see me (hint..hint..) I wanted her to see a picture of the fountain area Doug and I made in our back yard before all the plants around it wake up, realize who is taking care of them and die. A couple of weeks ago mom told me about the whole “every women needs to have her own Secret Garden” concept. Well, this is my Secret Garden…where I go to escape for a few minutes, or seconds is more accurate. I have a swing that sits right in front of it and it is so peaceful. I love it.
Here is a perfect example of when a “Secret Garden” is needed………
A couple of days ago I came home from work and went into the girls bathroom and noticed that there was a whole roll of soaking wet, super plump, squeezably soft Charmin double roll toilet paper right smack in the middle of the toilet. That’s not the bad part. Perched perfectly on top of it was a lovely gift from a lovely child. I immediately tracked down the culprit.
Me: “Jessa Lyn…….why is there a full roll of toilet paper in the toilet?”
Culprit: “ohhhhhhh…. Sorry Mama, I accidentally knocked it in there”
Me: “Okay sweetheart….but why, why, why did you have to poop on it?”
Culprit: “Ugh..MOMMMM I HAD to GO!”
Yep…I love my Secret Garden!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUGER!!!!!!!
So before I get to the congratulating I have to tell a little story about Squidward.
Yesterday, after Ruger's party we were sitting outside on the swing visiting and it got quiet for a couple of seconds and she says "oh, mom....did you know.....that whenever there's an uncomfortable silence.......either someone is thinking about Abraham Lincoln....or........(in a quiet, soft whisper).....a gay child is being born"
I'm all "What the hell are you talking about?"
Just kidding I really didn't say that...I said "What the hell?"
She says "I'm serious Mom...I heard that while I was in Panguitch from my really really good friend...and it's TRUE.....Ever since I heard it....every time I have an uncomfortable silence with someone...I TOTALLY think about Abraham Lincoln"
ummmmmm what the hell?
Anyway! We had Ruger's party last night. What a sweet boy he is! I can't believe he's thirteen. He is WAY WAY WAY to cool and fun and funny and sweet to be thirteen. I love him more than poo flinging monkeys.
Here's a few pics of the party. We had a blast buying boy things. Doug and I couldn't resist getting blow dart guns, paint balls for said blow dart gun, exploding rockets, pocket knives...etc. I really wanted to go down South and wrangle him that Leprechaun....Haaaaaay...Now that i've seen an amateur sketch I totally know what to look for. Maybe next year?
The girls made him a cake and as you can see the two cake theivers were on the prowl again. He got spoiled, ate cake,
oh, sorry...I was totally thinking about Abraham Lincoln..excuse me..... blew darts in the garage, played with his rockets, licked crepe paper and had a fabulous day!
WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!!!

Sweet Little Angel Babies
It seems that we have transformed Ruger into one of us. The change was a little hard for him at first but I think he has adjusted well and he is now thriving. We're hoping that by the time he has to go home his mom will not be able to handle the new Ruger and send him back! Actually, to tell the truth, I just wanted to take some cute, sweet pictures to have in a scrapbook but I guess the nerds had a whole different idea.......
Ruger's Birthday is tomorrow and we can't wait!!!! He'll be the big one-three! I guess we should prepare ourselves for the aliens with their syringes??????

Oh, I think I need to take Ashlie's Twilight book away........

You Dirty Dirty Birds!
So..... weekend before last we all went camping for the weekend and while we were there mom found a beautiful Secret Garden while on a 4-wheeler ride. She tells us we HAVE to go see it to take pictures. She also says it will be great because we can go out and sit cross legged in the field of beautiful flowers to take the pictures. Well, after a two hour four-wheeler / dirtbike ride to get there. Mom says "Okay! I'm ready.....lets take pics!" I think after you look at the pics we ended up with you'll see they are much better than in a field of flowers!
P.S. Make sure you read Ethans shirt and take notice of his one raised eyebrow. That kid is going places!
COUNT CHOCULA!! hahahaha.....

"Dirty mouth??? Clean it up with Orbit.....Fabulous!"

Happy Birthday Squidward !!!!!!
I can't believe it! My little girl is twelve! Anyone that knows my Asha (AKA Squidward) knows this kid absolutely has a heart of pure gold. She is always laughing, always saying "Thanks!" with a great big cheezy smile. She is always willing to help out or make you laugh out loud. I think she was black in a past life due to her booty shake that she is famous for. Talk about a kid who is absolutely full of life and is someone who we should all strive to be more like!
Lets see, now for the Birthday festivities. On Wednesday Doug and I, the kids, Mom, Mere and Brent and Mike and Amy all went to the Chinese buffet. Yes, this was my pick for her because I truly believe with all of my heart that every twelve year old girl should get to experience Chinese people singing "Happy Birthday To YOU!!" on their Birthday. It is a rite of passage. Actually it might be more for my enjoyment than anyone elses but hey, what can I say. It is absolutely hysterical and I know that it's politically incorrect but you've all seen A Christmas Story and laughed so shut up.
So anyway, we get to the restaurant and I realize I forgot my camera...I actually debated going home and getting it but was afraid I would miss something. Now I realize I should have went because here is how the night progressed...........We get done eating and Mere has to leave so I decide to get the twins riled up by egging Ethan on to throw red and yellow jello cubes at Brent which is so awesome because know he will do it at home too and as an Aunt...this is my duty. After they leave Amy goes up to get an ice cream bar from the freezer because apparently Orange Dream Cicles are considered a Chinese dessert (along with Premium Creamies and Fat Boy's) It is sooo frozen that it instantly freezes to her bottom lip...I mean...bad! And she's laughing so hard she can barely talk and at this point she has a pretty big audience because it looks like shes an aberigine doing a lip stretching ritual and its like two inches long and it's about to completely rip off her bottom lip. Mike...being the knight in shining armor that he is, decided to rescue her and delicately dump Sprite out of a full cup onto her face, and it's right at that moment, that I look at Mike dumping Sprite on Amy with a bright orange popcicle stuck to her bottom lip in the middle of a restaurant that I notice his shirt.....it has a picture of a Daschound on it and below it it says "Have you seen my Weiner?" NEED I SAY MORE? God I love my family!!! I will never forget my camera again...never...never...never!
So needless to say that was the climax...not the goofy Chinkaderoes singing Happy Birthday, because that never even happened! Much to my dismay, they are totally on to me. They are now playing an absolutely lame tape recording of Happy Birthday over the stereo speakers with big ole smiles on their faces. Dangit! Although, I still got a little of my glory as the waiter on the way out say's "Who name ees Squee Waaaar"? "A Happa Birhday Squee Waaaar!"
Sweet Justice!
I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART
