Aspen

Well...due to my hectic lifestyle I'm late posting about Pinelli's 16th Birthday. Sorry Pinell. I'm not going to post silly pictures this time. Even though we got some great shots of your friends during the pie eating contest! I just want you to know sweetheart....how proud I am of you, how much I cherish you, how much joy you bring to my life. You were such a funny little kid Aspen, so smart... well beyond your years. You never played by the rules. I remember looking at you as an infant and thinking to myself, wow, she has old eyes and in a way she's a little intimidating. It was so wierd, because grandma said the same thing about you! An old soul. I look at you now and I think...wow, she is going to be an extrordinary mother. You have this side of you that never ceases to amaze me. Such compassion, whether it be old people, mentally challenged people, deaf people, people who get picked on at school. The list goes on and on. People may not know that about you. You have befriended them all when at your age most kids scoff. Never loose that sweetheart. You are special. You will and are going far. I can't wait to stand back and watch you soar. You bring along my heart on the ride.
I love you.

Congrats on passing your test for the learners permit today....Woo and Hoo!!!!!

GO Number 4!!!!!!

Jessa Linnie Pickles won her first soccer game last Saturday and I have to say, it was a blast to watch! They run their little butts off and it's so cute! I never thought Doug would be the freaky involved sports dad until the third time he delayed the game because he wouldn't quit wispering in her ear. Especially since he's played so much soccer in his life????

I'm sure between me yelling at her "Your way cuter than they are honey!!!" and him wispering in her ear to "take out the sasquatch" she'll be a pro player for sure!!

Happy Birthday Boys!!!!!

It was a great night. Full of roasted hot dogs, hulk punch, face painting, castle bouncer, birthday cake, ice cream cones, and so much stinkin fun that when it was time to leave Jessa hid behind the laundry room door and we couldn't find her for 20 minutes! I guess you can officially call the party a hit?

Science Fair

Okay so I lied about making up lies...so far anyway. I have to brag about Ash for a minute. For her 6th grade science fair she got picked to go to Rangely College to the big science fair. They only picked 50 out of 380 6th graders. 5 kids per class and she got chosen. Her teacher loved her project which had to do with making a fire that won't burn paper.....cool huh! Anyway, you can read all about it on her blog. The link is on the right as "Squidward" Good job baby, you little scientific nut you!!!

Check out my kids handiwork

If you look to the right you'll see that my girls all created their own blogs. Now that I think about it ....totally not cool! Now if they post their own news then I can't post about their news so now what the heck am I supposed to post about? I'll just have to make up lies about them I guess.
